Mature shade tree over a residential property

Why Wait 20 Years for Shade?

When you plant a nursery sapling, you're making a promise to your future self — and hoping you'll still be around to enjoy it. A typical nursery-grown tree takes 15 to 25 years to provide meaningful shade, privacy, or visual impact.

At Evermoore Acres, we've already done the waiting. Our trees have been growing in Connecticut soil for years, developing the massive root systems, thick canopies, and natural form that make a landscape feel established and permanent from the moment of installation.

The difference isn't subtle. It's the difference between planting a hope and planting a legacy.

Nursery Sapling vs. Evermoore Tree

See why homeowners across Connecticut are choosing field-grown maturity over nursery promises.

Traditional Nursery Sapling

15–25
Years to meaningful shade

Container-grown in artificial soil. Limited root development. 6–8 ft at planting. Requires years of staking, watering, and hoping. Canopy won't provide real shade for a generation.

Evermoore Field-Grown Tree

1
Day to full canopy

Field-grown in natural CT soil. Expansive root system. 20–40 ft at installation. Weathered real seasons and storms. Immediate shade, privacy, and property value impact from day one.

Wildlife & Ecosystem

Native, mature trees provide immediate habitat — nesting sites, food sources, and shelter for birds, pollinators, and beneficial wildlife.

🌬️

Windbreak & Sound Buffer

Strategically placed mature trees reduce wind exposure and absorb road noise, creating a more comfortable and peaceful outdoor environment.

"The look on a homeowner's face when they see a 30-foot oak going into their yard — that's why we do this. It's not just a tree, it's the landscape they've been dreaming about."

What Homeowners Ask Us

We want you to feel confident in your investment. Here are the questions we hear most often.

Will a transplanted tree survive and thrive?

Yes. Our trees are field-grown specifically for relocation. They develop the expansive root systems and structural resilience needed for successful transplanting. We carefully excavate with a large root ball to ensure establishment.

How large are the trees you relocate?

Our trees range from 20 to 40 feet in height, with trunk calipers from 4 to 12+ inches. These are not nursery saplings — they're established specimens with real canopy presence.

What species do you offer?

We specialize in Connecticut native species — Red Oak, White Oak, Sugar Maple, Tulip Poplar, and American Sycamore. All are proven performers in New England's climate.

How long does installation take?

Most single-tree installations are completed in one day. Multi-tree projects may take 2–3 days depending on scope. Either way, your landscape transforms dramatically and immediately.

Do you serve my area?

We serve all of Connecticut from our East Windsor preserve. Delivery and installation are included in the project scope for locations throughout the state.
